He will work with <br />32 RVA Exccutivc Director Julie Larson on ways of networking <br />33 ■ Involvement of the Paxks and Recreation Commission and their volunteer sources <br />34 ■ Finalization of the script to encourage participation. <br />35 <br />36 Subcommittees <br />37 A discussion was held regarding subcommittees to work on issues between HRC meetings. <br />38 <br />39 City iVlanager Malinen advised that the HRC was an advisory body to the City Council and <br />40 should not meet if more than a quorum was present, but assignment of subcommittces at a formal <br />41 HRC meenng would be appropriate and transparent for the public, and those meetings without a <br />�2 quorum would not be subject to posting or open meeting law pravisions, but would simply be <br />43 work groups to accomplish goals and tasks of the HRC. <br />44 <br />45 Proposed Housing Ordinance <br />+6 This discussion was tabled for a future meeting when Commissioner Venters was in attendance. <br />
