�������� � <br />Human Rights Commission Notes <br />August 9, 2005 <br />Present: Phillip Crump Sfeve Sxnith, Bob Venters <br />Staff: Carolyn Curti <br />The Commission did not have a quonxm so those present held an informal discussion about <br />upcoming activities. <br />Forum on �ctober l l, 2005. <br />Confi�rned Speakers <br />• Attorney General Mikc Hatch <br />• Mike Ward, Tetxorisrn Coordinator, US Department of Justice <br />• Mary Jane Morrison, Professor of Law, Hamline Uni�versity <br />Steve Smith will check with Suzann DeLeon and Chuck Samuelson to see if lhey will <br />participate. <br />Carolyn Curti will work on a postcard and news release that we will send out closer to the <br />date. <br />Next month's meeting will be at 8:01 p.m. on September 13. It is election night, and the Ci#y <br />cannot hold any meetings until after the polls close. Carolyn Curti will be working at the <br />election so will not attend the September Human Rights Comtnission meeting. <br />
