1 Q. Train distric# employees to effectively communicate with families and the <br />comrnunity using a variety of communication tools (ie; translators, ATT <br />Language Line...). <br />11. Train district staff to facilitate multicultural student and employee support <br />groups. <br />12. Provide employees with opportunities to participate in diversity training <br />offered through EMID Staff Development office (ie; Teacher Center @ <br />Crosswinds and Tri-District). <br />� 3. Provide training for best practices in multicultural staff development to the <br />Diversity Committee. <br />PARENTICOMMUNITY INVQLVEMENT: <br />Engage district parents and students in focus graup directcd by EMID to gather <br />information on their perceptions of staff diversity awareness and the presence of <br />safe and equiiabie classrooms in the Roseville School Distnct. <br />DATA COLLECTION & ASSESSMENT METHODS: <br />Survey staff in the spring of 2003 to determine growth and improveznent and <br />compare results with data coilected in January, 2002 <br />BUDGET: <br />See attached Diversity Budgets for 2001-2002 and 2002-2003. <br />
