A quorum of (S) will be necessary for such <br />action with a majority sufficient far passage. <br />The number �oting aye and nay will be given. <br />General Duties of the Commission: <br />A. Enlisr the cooperation vf agencies, organi- <br />zations and individuals in the �om�unity in an <br />active grogram directed to create equal oppor- <br />tunity and eliminate discrimination and inequal- <br />i�ies. <br />B. Formulate a human relations program for the <br />City of Rosevi�le to give increased effectiveness <br />and direction to the work of all individua�s <br />and agencies addressing themselves to planni��� <br />policy making and educationa2 programming in the <br />area of c�vil and human rights. <br />C. Advise the Mayor, the City Council, and <br />other agencies of the government of hvman <br />relations and civil rights programs. Act in an <br />advisory capacity with respect to planning or <br />operation of any city department an issues vf <br />civi� and human rights and recommend the adoption <br />of such specific policies or acCion as are <br />needed to provide for fui� equaL opportunity <br />in the community. <br />
