<br />City Council Regular Meeting - 12/18/06 <br />Minutes - Page 23 <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan reiterated her support for an Interim Use <br />Permit as more flexible; and her lack of support for a Conditional <br />Use Permit; opining the potential for future tenants using the <br />property for vehicle sales, and potential long-term implications. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough; Pust; Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: Ihlan. <br /> <br />Closed Executive Session - <br />Consulting Development Attorneys, Rod Krass and Jim Casserly <br />were present for discussion of a potential resolution regarding the <br />Twin Lakes Redevelopment Project. <br /> <br />Upon the legal counsel of City Attorney Anderson, Mayor <br />Klausing, recessed the regular meeting at 9:00 p.m. and <br />reconvened in closed executive session, under Minnesota Statute <br />13.D.05, Subd. 3.b, Attorney/Client Privilege to discuss pending <br />litigation and pending condemnation proceedings; and to receive <br />advice and analysis from legal counsel and for discussion by <br />Council members as it relates to strategy and tactics affecting <br />those proceedings. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing sought public patience during this brief session; <br />noting remaining public business would be handled upon <br />reconvening the regular meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing reconvened the regular meeting at approximately <br />9:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Twin Lakes Redevelopment Project <br /> <br />Klausing moved, Maschka seconded, adoption of Resolution No. <br />10461 relating to the Breech of Contract between the City of <br />Roseville and Twin Lakes, LLC. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan, for the record, stated the intent of the <br />resolution for public knowledge, and spoke in opposition to the <br />motion, opining that additional information and analysis was <br />needed regarding the letter of credit action and decision to <br /> <br />Closed <br />Executive Session <br /> <br />Resolution 10461 <br />Twin Lakes <br />Redevelopment <br />Project <br />
