Roseville Sister City Association <br />Minutes <br />May 3, 2005 <br />Present: Jan Schultz, Mary 1Vleyer, Tom and Virginia Turba <br />Guesis: Barry Bridgcs and Peggy Sandmann <br />The rninutes of Apri1 5, 2005 were approved as printed. <br />Mary shared her experience with her joumalist Kazakstan guest. <br />Shinmachi: Tom reported that he and the Mayor had sent a letter to Shinzx�achi. <br />Costa Rica: No news. <br />New Business: Barry and Peggy from the Roseville Community Band attended thc <br />meeting. They are interested in the bax�.d being ambassadors for thc City af Roseville. <br />Currently they play their music in Central Park and other cities as well as many different <br />fcstivals. They expressed an interest in band exchange programs with our Sisler cities. <br />They nced to raise funds before any trip and are considering a triip for 2007. They shared <br />iheir experiences with trips to Ireland and Switzerland. Tom will attend the band board <br />meeting May 9th to further discuss this. <br />Rosefest Parade: Still rioi sure if we wiil be in the parade.
