Station Location, Apparatus, and Staffing Analysis <br />Roseville, MN <br />hazardous processes. There have been several significant fire and hazardous materials responses <br />to these facilities. <br />The west side of the city is home to three shopping malls and scores of other retail <br />businesses. The largest of the three malls, Rosedale Mall, is a 1.1 million square-foot shopping <br />complex, hosting more than 10 million visitors annually. <br />The RFD provides fire/rescue protection and first-responder medical care for the <br />jurisdiction. Fire apparatus are housed in three stations. <br />�� <br />�I � <br />� .� <br />Figure 1 <br />� <br />Fire Station #l, located on Lexington Avenue (central station), is a very old building <br />(circa 1930) that was once used as a car dealership. It was converted to a fire station and part of <br />the building was used as City Hall. City Hall has since moved to a new location but the fire <br />station still shares space with other city departments.
