Apparatus Staffing: The minimum staffing for a fire apparatus to respond to an <br />emergency call for service. <br />Call Processing Time: The maxirnum time it takes a Roseville Fire Department <br />dispatcher to process thc call and activate the Roseville Fire Department pagers. <br />Emergency Call for Service: A fire department incident that, according to the <br />infonrziation provided by the dispatchet, indicates there is a valid thrcat to life and/or <br />property that justifies the risk of a lights and suen (Code Red) response. <br />Chief Officer: Any officer of the fire department with the rank of Distnct Chief or higher <br />(or an officer of lower rank assigned in an acting capacity). <br />Company Officer: Any officer of the fire department with the rank of Captain or <br />Lieutenant (or a non-officer assigned in an acting capacity) that is serving as the crew <br />leader on the fire apparatus. <br />Critical Calls for Serviee: An emergency call for service that requires the resources of <br />three or more Roseville Fire companics to mitigate the emergency. <br />�ncident Staffing: The rninimum number of firefighters asscmbled on the scenc of a <br />critical call for servzce. <br />Staffed Station Response Time: The maximum time it takes far a staffed station <br />response to an emergency call for service as measured from the time the uni# calls <br />enroute until it arrives on-scene. <br />Staffed Station Turnout Time: The m�imum time it takes for an on-duty Roseville <br />Fire Department crew to have whccls rolling to an emergency call for service. <br />Standard: A defined and expected level of performance. <br />Station Stafftng: The hours of the day that a fire station is staffed with a minirnum crew <br />of 3 firefighters and 1 officer. <br />Supervision of response: The minimum supervision nceded on the scene of a critical <br />emergency call for service. <br />Unstaffed Station Response Time� The time it takes for a crew to respond to the scene <br />of an emergency call for service from an wnstaffed fire station. <br />29 <br />
