roses for those attending the banquet. The cornrnittee hopes to have Miss Roseville on hand that <br />evening to pass out the roses. Fliers are printed. There will be seating for 300 people at Midland <br />Hills. Tickets are $25.00 each, and 25 have been sold so far. It will be a very festive event. <br />Please be sure to purchase your ticket and also check out some tickets to help sell them. See <br />Catmen or Betty Wolfangle for that. Dolores Niewald has volunteered to calligraphy the name <br />tags. Pat Johnson has sent out letters to former city council members regarding this event. The <br />Roseville Community Bank is the sponsor for the evening and the Pioneer Press will print the <br />programs. <br />OPERATING COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />FINANCE COMMITTE� - Tom Johnson reported that we are in good shape �nancially. <br />SKATING CENTER EVENTS COORDINATION - Don Anderson reported that things <br />have run very smoothly with the Skating Center, however, he does need help selling shirts and <br />buttons at the Dance on September 19. <br />BUTTON CQMNIITTEE - Denny Harris reported the sale of buttons for the events have gone <br />well. There were 626 buttons sold at the Taste of Roseville and that there are approximately 550 <br />buttons remaining out of 3500. If they run out of buttons the night of the dance, they will stamp <br />hands for admission. Denny also reported that some of the prizes for the drawing the night oi the <br />dance will be a 27" RCA color TV and a Twins shirt signed by Paul Molitor Everyone 12 and up <br />will need a button for the days activities. <br />PIONEER PORTRAIT CUMMITTEE -Mary Bakeman reported that CTV awarded a grant to <br />the SOth Anttiversary Committee for the video portrait project. Plans on being made to begin the <br />next taping session. <br />OTHER BUS�NESS - <br />AD TQURNMENT <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m. The next meeting will be Wednesday, October 7, 1998 at <br />7:00 p.m. at the Roseville Activity Center. <br />5Uth Anniversary 2 <br />
