Lake Owasso Law Enforcement - Approve Supplementary Ram- <br />sey County Law Enforcement on Lake Owasso <br />Pust moved, Ihlan seconded approving an agreement with Ramsey <br />County for supplemental law enforcement services on Lake Owasso at <br />a cost not to exceed $1,659, to be funded from the 2007 Police <br />Budget; and further authorizing the Mayor and City Manager to sign <br />said agreement upon final review of the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan; Roe; Pust and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />8. Consider Items Removed from Consent <br />None. <br /> <br />9. Public Hearings <br />a. Ordinance - Public Hearing and Consideration of an Ordinance <br />Amending Chapter 508 of the City Code Relating to the Donation <br />of Unclaimed Bicycles <br />Mayor Klausing opened the Public Hearing at 6: 10 p.m. <br /> <br />Police Chief Carol Sletner provided a short summation of the written <br />Request for Council Action dated April 9, 2007; advising that there <br />would be no cost to the City other than staff time and the cost for pub- <br />lishing notice in the newspaper. <br /> <br />Discussion included the amount that may be realized if the bicycles <br />were auctioned; with Chief Sletner advising that historically, sales are <br />very low, estimating between $100 - 400; and that if other similar or- <br />ganizations came forward, the City would consider bicycle donations <br />to them as well. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing closed the Public Hearing at 6: 12 p.m., with no one <br />appearing for or against. <br /> <br />Pust moved, Roe seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1346 to add <br />Chapter 508.02 entitled, "Donation of Unclaimed Bicycles" to the <br />
