<br />Regular City Council Meeting Minutes <br />Monday, April 23, 2007 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />Councilmember Pust, speaking on behalf of the City's Housing and <br />Redevelopment Authority (HRA), expressed pleasure that the devel- <br />oper was considering the project, and noted that neither she nor the <br />HRA had any concerns about the project or bond issuance. <br /> <br />Councilmember Roe opined that he was looking forward to consider- <br />ing the project. <br /> <br />Mayor Klausing noted that he had looked at the language of the pro- <br />posed resolution and observed that the City had done similar conduit <br />financing previously; and spoke in support of the objectives the de- <br />veloper was trying to achieve. <br /> <br />Councilmember Ihlan opined that she had no problem scheduling the <br />hearing; but was reluctant, without additional documentation, to give <br />preliminary approval, but expressed her interest in reviewing the pro- <br />ject. <br /> <br />Pust moved, Roe seconded, establishing a Public Hearing for May 21, <br />2007, purpose of issuing approximately $6 Million in tax-exempt <br />revenue bonds, for Centennial East Limited Partnership; and giving <br />preliminary approval to the project, and authorizing an application <br />for bonding authority, and authorizing the preparation of necessary <br />documents and materials (Centennial Gardens East Project). <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br />NOTE: <br />Refer to Council action by resolution later in the meeting <br />(follows 10.j). <br />Ayes: Ihlan; Roe; Pust and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br /> <br />b. Quit Claim Deed - Approve a Quit Claim Deed Transferring <br />Land back to Nature View of Roseville Town Home Association <br />(former Consent Item 7.e) <br />Community Development Director John Stark summarized the staff <br />report dated April 23, 2007 regarding the request to re-record COlTec- <br />tive documents deeding the common area at Nature View of Roseville <br />to the homeowner's association.
