Regular City Council Meeting Minutes Monday, April 23, 2007 Page 7 Councilmember Pust, speaking on behalf of the City's Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA), expressed pleasure that the devel- oper was considering the project, and noted that neither she nor the HRA had any concerns about the project or bond issuance. Councilmember Roe opined that he was looking forward to consider- ing the project. Mayor Klausing noted that he had looked at the language of the pro- posed resolution and observed that the City had done similar conduit financing previously; and spoke in support of the objectives the de- veloper was trying to achieve. Councilmember Ihlan opined that she had no problem scheduling the hearing; but was reluctant, without additional documentation, to give preliminary approval, but expressed her interest in reviewing the pro- ject. Pust moved, Roe seconded, establishing a Public Hearing for May 21, 2007, purpose of issuing approximately $6 Million in tax-exempt revenue bonds, for Centennial East Limited Partnership; and giving preliminary approval to the project, and authorizing an application for bonding authority, and authorizing the preparation of necessary documents and materials (Centennial Gardens East Project).
