Department Overview <br /> <br />The Community Development Department is comprised of four operating divisions; Planning <br />and Zoning, Economic Development, Code Compliance, and GIS Services. The Department is <br />led by the Director of Community Development, who oversees departmental strategic planning <br />and budgeting, and is responsible for all departmental activities. In addition, the Community <br />Development Director is the Executive Director of the Roseville Housing and Redevelopment <br />Authority (RHRA). The RHRA staff person is housed within the Community Development <br />Department. <br /> <br />Divisional managers oversee day-to-day operations and report directly to the Director. The <br />Departments organizational structure is depicted below. <br />The Department includes 10 full-time and 3 part-time employees. A majority of the Community Development Directors time is allocated to <br />this Division. This Division is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of zoning, <br />subdivision, and development regulations.
