The division regulates and <br />Code Compliance Division <br />enforces state and local codes regarding the construction, remodeling and expansion all <br />structures within the City. The division also enforces city codes regarding property maintenance <br />and public nuisances. Staffing levels are expected to remain unchanged for the next several <br />years. <br /> <br />The City’s includes 1 full-time employee. The division provides and <br />GIS Services Division <br />maintains electronic data regarding land within Roseville for both the public and staff. Staffing <br />levels are expected to remain unchanged for the next several years. <br /> <br />The City’s has no direct full or part-time employees. Instead a <br />Economic Development Division <br />portion of the Community Development Director’s time is allocated towards economic <br />development. This division attempts to foster and encourage expansion of existing businesses <br />and attract new businesses. There has been recent discussion by both the City Council and the <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority about expanding economic development efforts. With <br />that in mind, it is expected that staffing levels will need to be increased by at least one more full- <br />time staff person. <br /> <br />The City’s employees one part-time staff person <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) <br />and has two Community Development staff members assigned hours towards HRA matters (The <br />Department Assistant and Community Development Director). The HRA support housing <br />opportunities for residents through the provision of housing loan programs, helps preserve <br />neighborhoods by funding proactive code enforcement, and promotes and markets sustainable <br />practices through such events as the Living Smarter Home and Garden Fair. The HRA is <br />currently undertaking their own strategic plan. As a result of that process, it is expected that the <br />additional resources will be allocated for HRA activities. <br /> <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />
