It may adopt and from time to time amend <br /> rules of procedure. It shall adopt rules for the transaction of business and shall keep a record of its <br /> resolutions, transactions and findings, which records shall be a public record. It shall make quarterly reports of <br /> its activities to the council. <br /> (c) An annual statement of the park board's receipts and disbursements shall be filed with the clerk immediately <br /> after the close of the calendar year and shall be included as part of the annual financial statement of the clerk. <br /> (Code 1 <br /> Sec 2 �IlEiii iiirneiiiri"t staiindairds <br /> Employment standards governing all personnel employed by the park board shall be the same employment <br /> standards as governing the professional supervisory and clerical employees of the city unless approved otherwise by <br /> the council. <br /> (Code 1 <br /> Sec 22 36 Pairilk fuind <br /> (a) For the purpose of carrying out the powers and duties of the park board, there is hereby continued as <br /> heretofore established in the treasury a special fund, to be called a park fund. The council may transfer to the <br /> park fund such moneys as it shall consider necessary for park purposes. <br /> (b) Each year, the park board shall present to the council, in such detail as the council shall require, its estimate <br /> of the financial needs of the board for the ensuing fiscal year. <br /> (c) The park board is authorized to receive gifts, devises, bequests, endowments, or other donations of money <br /> and property. All moneys received shall be deposited in the park fund. <br /> (Code 1 <br /> Sec 22 37 ir <br /> The park board shall have the power to establish, improve, ornament, maintain and manage parks, parkways, <br /> and recreational facilities, and shall have all other powers vested in it by law. The park board may periodically adopt <br /> a schedule of fees for program services and facility use. <br /> (Code 1 <br /> Sec 22 111 aiind acquillsiltillain iii n it , <br /> (a) The city shall acquire lands for park purposes as the council deems advisable. The council shall, however, <br /> receive recommendations from the park board with reference to land acquisition before the council acquires <br /> property for park purposes.
