, Drivetvay Approaches in the Boulevard <br />-2- <br />a) Permit will be i.ssued only when the work a.s to be done in <br />accordance with the Code regulations relating �o Iocation, <br />size, material, elevations, etc. <br />b) Only licensed contractors s}ia11 be allowed to da such woxk, <br />except that eompetent property owners would be issued a <br />permit if t3�ey sign an agxeement inde�?tnifying the City �rom <br />�.amages and holding them harmless from actions caused by this <br />work. <br />3) The staf£ would prepare a Iisting of those driveways which are in <br />existence as of this date which do not con£orm to the Code reg- <br />ulations. This would minimize future disputes concerning those <br />conditions in comparison ta work that would someliow occur a£ter the <br />date such a list was prepared. <br />4} Any unusuaZly hazarclous drivet,�ays would be brought into conformance <br />by the property owner within 60 days of notification of this problem. <br />5) Driveways which ao not conform to the Code requirements as of this <br />date woul.d be hrought into conformance to the extent physacally <br />possible whenever street re�onstruction occurs, the property is <br />developed, or the property is at least 50% redeveloped. <br />Authority: Section 82 of the Czty Code relates specificalZy to curb cuts, <br />driveways, and access to the public streets and sets foxth numerous provzsions <br />and requirements for this wor�t ta occur. <br />
