NSP's Gas Emergency Plan esfiatrlishes procedures and defines responsibilities in the <br />region as required by NSP Operating and Maintenance Standards including <br />Emergency Procedures. <br />The primary objective of the plan is to assure: <br />♦ Immediate recognition and reporting of emergencies. <br />♦ Prompt and appropriate response in order to: protect the public, <br />employees and company facilities, prevent or minimize property dama�e, <br />and re-establish gas supply shouid interruption occur. <br />Emergency Procedures include: <br />Fire or Explosion Near or Directly Invvfving Gas Systems <br />Gas in Building <br />Outside Leak Emergencies <br />Emergency Rapid Shutdown Procedures <br />Emergency a# District Regulators <br />Emergencies at a Town Border Station (TBS) <br />Natural Disasters <br />Civil Disorders <br />Emergency 8 Temporary AbovEground Service to Customers <br />Failed Material & Gas-related Incideni Investigation <br />NSP also maintains a Damage Prevention Program to infiorm: excavators, gas <br />customers, and the general pubfic of the existance of natu�al gas pipeline system and <br />what to do to prevent damage to NSP facilities during excavatian activities. <br />Amoco Oil CompanylAmoco Pipeline Company (Amoco) <br />Amoco is a producer of petroleum products at two refineries, one at Mandan, N.D. and <br />the other at the Whiting Refinery in Whiting, Indiana_ Amaco afso moves their <br />petroleum product in their own pipefi�es and distributes their products from a storage <br />terminal in Roseville by tank truck or other company's pipelines. Ninety to 95% of the <br />petroleum products came into the Roseviile terminal from Mandan, the remainder from <br />the Williams Pipe Line Company terminal, on the other side of County Road C in <br />Roseville. <br />Facilities at the Amoco Oil Company Terminaf (See Figure 1fi) ir� Roseville are: <br />3-2 <br />
