Both of these pipelines can be operated b+directionally and are used for <br />the complete range of petroleum products. <br />♦ An eight inch pipeline, Figure 14, to the Amoco Oil Company terminal is <br />�sed to move product back and forth between the two terminals. This <br />pipeline is owned by Amoco Oil Company. <br />♦ Wi!liams has another eight inch pipeline, Figure 14, that con�ects with <br />Amoco Oil Company's main eight inch pipeline on the east side of the <br />railroad tracks. This gives WiE[iams another pipeline to receive product <br />from Amoco. <br />♦ Williams receives ethanol in railroad tank cars or tank trucks onfy, not <br />through pipelines. Amoco Oii Company does not have an ethanol <br />unloading facility. A six inch Iine from Williams to Amoco provides Amoco <br />Oil Company with ethanol. <br />Safety Programs <br />♦ In � 993, the Williams Pipe Line Company's 12 inch No. 4 pipeline was <br />hydrostaticaffy tested; this line passed its test. The eight inch No. 2 pipel�ne <br />was hydrostatically tested in '� 99'f . This fine passed its test. <br />♦ WilEiams Pipe Line Company employs an environmental and health speciaiist <br />whose job it is to supervise the training of employees in a five sta#e area. This <br />specia[ist is also responsible for overseeing fire and emergency training and <br />OSHA compfiance. Annual emergency drills are planned for the future. <br />♦ The Williams Pipe Lir�e Company Fire Contro� System at their terminal is shown <br />in Figure 15. <br />Public Education <br />♦ Williams P.ipe Line Company has a number of public education video tapes <br />available for showing on Roseviile's N Channel.
