Recommendations <br />1.20 The City oi Roseviile, Amoc� Qil Company and Williams Pipe Line <br />Company should coordinate their plans for carrying foam on hand so as <br />to determine t�e aptimum amount of foam eacf� should have on hand to <br />combat a terminal, pipeline or tanker truck spill�re. <br />1_21 Roseville Fire Department should have more foam solution on hand an� <br />use outdated stock for drill purposes. <br />Finding{s) <br />♦ A variety of custom built trailers are availabie to enhance the fre fighting <br />capabilities of a fire department. TF�ese trailers are equipped to transport and <br />apply foam salutions to pipelines, pipefine terminaEs and tanker truck spills/fires. <br />♦ Foami�g agents are the approved method for fighting petroleum fires. <br />Recommendations <br />1.22 Tt�e City of Roseville should procure and be the sole owner of a custom <br />built trailer to combat petroleum spills/fires. Roseville's Fire Department <br />personnel should determine what apparatus and capabifities the trailer <br />should have to best serve the needs of the department and the City. <br />or <br />The City of Roseville should pursue a mutual aid agreement with <br />neighboring communities for the procurement and co-ownership of a <br />custom built trailer to combat petroleum spills/fires. <br />or <br />The City of Roseviile should persuade Amoco Oil Company and Williams <br />Pipe Line Company to join the City in procuring and owning a custom built <br />trailer to combat petroleum spills/fires. <br />Finding(sj <br />♦ There is a concern that a naturai gas or petrofeum product pipeline fire in the <br />vicinity of either one of Northern States Power Company's high voltage electric <br />transmission lines could endanger the lives of fire fighters and the public by <br />:: <br />
