For example, an "early <br />alert" to NSP co�id be put in place when the first incident commander <br />arrives a# the scene even though a fire may not have yet been ignited. <br />Finding(s) <br />� The Mir�nesota O�ce of Pipeline Safety, as an agent of the Federal 4ffice af <br />Pipeline Safety, performs annual and special inspections of inter and intra sta#e <br />natural gas and hazardous liquid pipefine operaiions throughoui the State <br />(including Roseville). These inspections are made to verify that pipeiine <br />operators comply with federa� regulations. Reports are filed with the Regional <br />Federal Office of Pipeline Safety. <br />♦ Minnesota's Fire Marshal's 4ffice pertorms inspections of new construction at <br />pipeiine terminals to verify that the design and construction comply with the <br />Uniform Fire Code. Reports are issued after each inspection including a final <br />"exit interview" letter. <br />♦ Natural gas and hazardous liquid pipeline operators are required to file incident, <br />accident, annual and safety related reports in accordance with Federal Pipefine <br />Safety Regulations. <br />Recommendations <br />1.24 The City should request that a copy of the reports as stated in t�e abave <br />Findings be sUpplied routinely to the City Manager for action. <br />Finding(s) <br />♦ Wf�en calied, the Roseville Fire Department responds to incidents at the <br />Ro�evifle pipeline terminais, the pipelines and ta�ker truck spills/fires. <br />:- <br />
