Insects <br />High: Insects such as dragonflics, damselflies, mayflies and water bugs are found in <br />hi�her value ponds. These insects are dependent on having aquatic and emergent <br />vegetation for breeding and protection. They also pz'ovide food for small mammals, <br />reptiles and amphibians, and birds. <br />Mediuzn: These ponds provide habitat for a lower diversity of insects.
