Storm Pond Qualitative Ranking <br />After field evaluation of each scorm pond site, the next step was to assign a qualitativc <br />rank for each pond. The rank uses a Functional Value Index (FVI) based on the eight <br />aesthetic criteria of High, Mcdium, or Low in each cate�ory. The eight criteria where <br />evaluated separately and then the average was used ta deterznine the ponds overall <br />ranlcing.
