RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE <br />POLICE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISS�ON <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />PURPOSE <br />The following rules and regulations are established hy the Roseville Police Civil Service <br />Commission in order to promote ef�ciency in the Roseville Police Department and to carry <br />out the purposes and intent of Minnesota Statutes Chapter 419 and Chapter 235 of the City <br />Code of the City of Roseville. <br />2. PROCEDURE <br />a. The Commission shall meet the first Monday in Februaiy of each year and itom time <br />to tim.e thereafter upon the call of the Chair. <br />b. All meetings shall be held in the Rosevillc City Hall and shall be open to the public. <br />c. Public notice of all meetings sha11 be posted in a prominen# placc in the Roseville <br />City Hall at least 24 hours before the convcning of ineetings. In the case oI <br />emergencies, the time of such notice may bc reduced. <br />d. The presence of two Comxrussioners sh.all constitute a quorum for the conducting of <br />busincss. <br />A Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary shall be elected by the Commission at its annual <br />mectings, to serve one-year terms. <br />Minutes of all meetings shall be kept by the Secretary and shall be open for public <br />inspection at reasonablc times and places. <br />g. Any questioz� concerning interpretation of these rules and regulations shall be decided <br />solely by the Commission. <br />3. ENTRY LEVEL POSITIONS <br />Opcnings in e�try-level positions shall be filled from an eligible register maintained by the <br />Commission.
