STEP TWO: PHYSICAL QUALIFICATION TESTING <br />Z. Testing is on a pass/fail basis (that is, all tasks must be completed) <br />2. Detezmine what job-related tests will be given and secure necessary praps <br />a) stretcher carry <br />b} 500 yard run <br />�) obstacle course <br />d) body drag <br />�} trigger pu�l <br />3. Locate and reserve appropriate place for testing; establish time and date and select staff to <br />administer testing. [decide if an alternate date will be available] <br />4. Select officers to do testing to establish maxitnum times for each test; include officers of <br />different ages and both males and females. <br />5. Testing will be observed by members of the Oral Interview Board_ <br />b- All candidates who take the physical quaiification test are notified in writing eit�er: <br />a) they failed the test and aze no longer being considered in the process, or <br />�) ihey passed the physical qualification test, but do not have a high enough score <br />(based on the totat number af candidates being interviewed) to continue in the <br />process at this time ; <br />�) they passed the physical qualification tes# and are invited to, continue the process <br />by calling in to schedule an irutial oral interview. <br />Raseville Poiicelcjg/may97 <br />
