Receive Neighborhood and Community Engagement Task Force final <br />Report <br />Mayor Roe announced receipt of the long-anticipated Roseville <br />Neighborhood & Community Engagement Task Force Report and Final <br />Recommendations; and welcomed Task Force members in attendance. <br />Members present included Gary Grefenberg (Co-Chair of the Civic <br />Engagement Task Force); Teresa Gardella (member-at-large, tonight <br />acting as Co-Chair for Kaying Thao who had a meeting conflict; Jim <br />DeBenedet (Public Works, Environment, and Transportation Commission <br />m ember); Kathy Ramundt (member-at-large); and Jim Lewis (member-at- <br />large) <br />As presented in meeting materials (Attachment A), Mr. Grefenberg and <br />Task Force members reviewed the nine (9) areas of recommendation as <br />outlined, and detailed in the RCA dated October 22, 2012.. ... <br />Items for Future Consideration <br />In conclusion, Member Grefenberg reviewed the three (3) conclusions <br />(page 23): <br />1) Monitor progress on recommendations based on City Council <br />priorities; <br />2) Monitor implementation and effectiveness of the Civic Engagement <br />elements in the Imagine Roseville 2025 Plan and 2030 Roseville <br />Comprehensive Plan; <br />3) Assess the effectiveness of recommendations as they relate to minority <br />ar marginalized communities; and if needed, evaluate additional <br />recommendations based on diversity of Roseville's populations. <br />Excerpts from Draft Minutes of Council October 22, 2012, Meeting j <br />
