Appoint Commissioner to Human Rights Commission <br /> Pust moved, Johnson seconded, appointment of Scot Becker to the Human <br /> Rights Commission to serve a vacated term ending March 31, 2013. <br /> Councilmembers Johnson and McGehee thanked all applicants for considering <br /> service to the City, noted the outstanding pool of candidates for this one (1) va- <br /> cancy, and encouraged them to find other ways to get involved. <br /> At the request of Councilmember McGehee, Mayor Roe noted that the Decem- <br /> ber 3, 2012 agenda included an opportunity for Councilmembers to approve the <br /> process for the next round of Commission vacancies; and advised that this <br /> would be the appropriate time for individual Councilmembers to make sugges- <br /> tions for revising policy language for the City Council Policy and process for <br /> appointments to its advisory commissions. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Johnson; Pust; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> e. Rainbow Foods Liquor Store Alcohol Compliance Failure <br /> Police Lt. Lorne Rosand summarized the process for the second of the semi- <br /> annual alcohol compliance checks for Roseville on and off-sale licensees, as de- <br /> tailed in the RCA dated October 22, 2012. Lt. Rosand reviewed the compliance <br /> process, displayed a sample of the under-age checker identification (driver's li- <br /> cense); and the annual notice provided to license holders from Police Chief <br /> Mathwig, dated March 26, 2012, and provided to all licensees regarding the two <br /> (2) random checks during the year, as well as their need to make server training <br /> records available to the Police Department as requested, and how to obtain <br /> training information online or by mail from the City Police Department. <br />
