Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, October 22,2012 <br /> Page 17 <br /> ceived training, and then some only post violation, Councilmember Johnson ad- <br /> vised that he would support the motion as proposed. <br /> Councilmember McGehee concurred with Councilmember Johnson's com- <br /> ments, opining that training compliance after the fact was not appropriate. <br /> Councilmember Pust noted the frequency that the City Council discussed train- <br /> ing and compliance, and expressed her failure to understand how and why peo- <br /> ple did not read the notice and ordinance information provided to them by the <br /> City, as a responsibility of their licenses. Councilmember Pust opined that the <br /> City continued to be consistent in keeping them up-to-date; and asked that the <br /> Police Department consider other avenues to communicate and emphasize this <br /> to license holders. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Johnson; Pust; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> f. Love from Minnesota Alcohol Compliance Failure <br /> Lt. Rosand provided specifics related to compliance failure at Love From Min- <br /> nesota, located at 2465 Fairview Avenue; as detailed in the in the RCA dated <br /> October 22, 2012 <br /> There was no representative present from Love From Minnesota at tonight's <br /> meeting. <br /> Pust moved, McGehee seconded, allowing the Roseville Police Department to <br /> issue and administer the presumptive penalty as set forth in Section 302.15 of <br /> the Roseville City Code; imposing an administrative presumptive penalty in the <br /> amount of$1,000 and a zero (0) day suspension for sale to underage person. <br /> Councilmember Johnson opined that, while it was unfortunate that this had to <br /> happen, he gave management high kudos for their safety training; further opin- <br /> ing that it was refreshing to see that happening. <br /> Mayor Roe concurred, noting that it was unfortunate that there had still been a <br /> violation in spite of that training. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Willmus; Johnson; Pust; McGehee; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> g. Cedarholm Golf Course Alcohol Compliance Failure <br /> Mayor Roe noted that this golf course was operated by the City of Roseville as <br /> the alcohol license holder. <br />
