January 16, 2013 <br />Item S.a and S.b <br />Attachment 1 and 2 <br />c. Program Planning Committee: The Program Planning Committee considers and <br />assesses various programs to advance the purposes of the Human Rights <br />Commission, and makes program recommendations to the Commission for its <br />consideration. Once a program is approved, the Committee provides direction and <br />assistance in the execution of the program, and reports back to the Commission on <br />program results. The Program Planning Committee may opt to support, sponsor, <br />and/or promote programs and events per Program Planning Parameters (Addendum <br />A). <br />Membership of the Program Planning Committee consists of volunteer <br />Commissioners appointed by the Commission Chair. Committee will then elect its <br />own Standing Committee Chair or designate a lead to represent them to the <br />Commission. <br />d. Youth Engagement Committee: The Committee advises the Commission on <br />means to involve Roseville youth in the work of the Commission, and develops and <br />implements programs and activities to engage youth in achieving the Commission's <br />mission and purpose. <br />Membership of the Committee consists of all Youth Commissioners appointed by the <br />City Council and other volunteers appointed by the Commission chair. <br />B. Special Committees & Advisory Groups: From time to time, the Commission or a <br />Standing Committee may establish various ad hoc committees or task farces whose <br />membership will be open to any Roseville resident, city employee, or any employee who <br />works in Roseville. Their purpose will be to advise the Commission and or Committee on <br />policy and programs, and to assist the Commission in achieving its goals and objectives. <br />Attachments to Chair's Report of January 16, 2013 4 <br />
