Chair Grefenberg �r�a ^� responded this would be determined by the Council. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Chair Grefenberg moved and Commissioner Thao seconded a motion to recommend the Council <br />allow for representation from the HRC on the Neighborhood and Community Engagement <br />. Motion passed unanimously. <br />157 Chair Grefenberg moved and Commissioner Singleton seconded a motion to recommend the <br />158 Council allow the Civic Engagement Task Force remain in existence until a final decision was <br />159 reached on the future form of the task force. Motion passed unanimously. <br />160 <br />161 Communications from the Public: Chair Grefenberg reviewed the communications from the <br />162 public noting he would not be responding to Mr. Houck's letter. (A co�y of this letter was <br />163 available at the entrance to the meetin� room.) <br />164 <br />165 Commissioner Brisbois agreed with this stance as the letter was a personal attack against Chair <br />l 66 Grefenberg and no further action should be taken. She stated the actions of the HRC were made <br />167 as a group and not by any one single person. <br />168 <br />169 <br />170 <br />171 <br />172 <br />173 <br />174 <br />175 <br />176 <br />177 <br />178 <br />179 <br />180 <br />181 <br />182 <br />183 <br />184 <br />Commissioner Thao asked if Mr. Houck deserved a response from the group to acknowledge his <br />concern. <br />Chair Grefenberg was in favor of letting the matter go with Mr. Houck. <br />Commissioner Brisbois suggested the group consider how to respond as a Commission in the <br />future to concerns and that this be discussed as a future agenda item. <br />City Manager Malinen indicated there was no specific protocol for responding to concerns and <br />this was left up to the Commission. <br />Commissioner Thao was in favor of responding in a professional manner on behalf of the <br />Commission. <br />Chair Grefenberg indicated he would draft a letter to Mr. Houck and forward it to the <br />Commission for review prior to being sent. The HRC agreed with this suggestion. <br />
