He stated he would like the event held priar to December 31, 2012, <br />because its funding would come out of the a�roximately $1.000 unexpended this year. <br />Commissioner Thao commented she would not be able to plan an event in the next five weeks, <br />given her work and family obligations. <br />City Mana�er Bill Malinen commented that since the City was now working under a biennial <br />bud etg it might still be possible for the event to be paid out of 2012 funds. <br />Chair Grefenberg then suggested the event could be held after the first of the year for an expense <br />not to exceed $300. <br />The Youth Commissioners volunteered to assist Commissioner Thao with the event. <br />Commissioner Thao moved and Commissioner Groff seconded a motion to allot $300 for a <br />celebration/reception to recognize the Civic Engagement Task Force. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />Staff Report: <br />Financial Report <br />There was nothing additional to report. <br />Election of Commission Chair and Vice-Chair <br />Chair Grefenberg requested Vice-Chair David-Singleton conduct the election of <br />the Chair. <br />Commissioner Brisbois nominated Gary Grefenberg as Chair of the HRC. <br />There being no other nominations Vice Chair Sin�leton closed the nominations. <br />Commissioner Brisbois moved and Commissioner Thao seconded a motion to elect Gary <br />Grefenberg as the Chair of the HRC. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Commissioner Thao nominated Jill Brisbois as Vice-Chair of the HRC. <br />Commissioner Singleton nominated himself for Vice-Chair of the HRC. <br />319 Commissioner Brisbois addressed the group stating she would like to serve as the Vice-Chair <br />320 stating she would continue to work hard for the HRC. She understood the goals of the group and <br />321 would be honored to assume a leadership role. <br />322 <br />
