City of Roseville Emergency Operations Plan and Terrorism Annex <br />B. Fire Department <br />1. Conduct Emergency Medical, firefighting, rescue and hazardous material <br />operations. <br />2. Conduct radiological monitoring and reporting. <br />3. Assist with providing trained personnel for monitoring and decontamination. <br />4. Coordinate rescue activities. <br />5. Assist law enforcement in traffic control. <br />6. Assist in route alerting and door-to-door notification. <br />7. Assist with the provision of emergency medical services and first aid to evacuees <br />at reception centers and at mass care centers. <br />8. Provide emergency medical care. <br />9. Provide emergency medical response to established shelters for monitoring the <br />condition of evacuees and their transportation to functional hospitals. <br />C. Law Enforcement <br />1. Provide security at EOC and other vital areas. <br />2. Provide security at reception centers and mass care centers. <br />3. Control access to affected areas. <br />4. Provide security for evacuated areas and any areas containing contaminated <br />personal items or valuables. <br />5. Conduct route altering and door-to-door notification as necessary. <br />6. Notify hearing impaired. <br />7. Provide instructions for those persons without transportation for evacuation from <br />public areas. <br />8. Establish primary and alternate evacuation routes. <br />9. Provide traffic control. <br />10. Identify road impediments. <br />11. Supervise orderly movement control of evacuees back into the area when it is <br />safe. <br />12. Search and rescue. <br />13. Supplement communications. <br />14. Assist with evacuation efforts. <br />15. Provide EMS care as needed. <br />D. Emergency Managers <br />1. Activate and manage the EOC. <br />2. Coordinate EOC response and recovery operations. <br />3. Coordinate information with adjacent counties and the state EOC. <br />4. Ensure 24-hour staffing of emergency organizations including liaison require- <br />ments. <br />5. Assist EOC staff in resolving operational problems. <br />6. Obtain additional resources needed for response. <br />7. Ensure EOC staff is updated on events. <br />8. Coordinate implementation of protective actions. <br />9. Coordinate relocation to alternate EOC, if necessary. <br />10. Develop and maintain the EOP and EOC SOP. <br />� <br />
