City of Roseville Emergency Operations Plan and Terrorism Annex <br />1 l. Provide for EOC staff training and participation in drills and exercises. <br />12. Coordinate all county emergency management training. <br />13. Activate and manage EOC communications. <br />14. Coordinate the assistance provided by private organizations, groups or volunteers, <br />in conjunction with the Red Cross and other government agencies. <br />15. Review Public Information Office (PIO) releases for accuracy. <br />16. Activate Emergency Broadcast System, if needed. <br />17. Maintain the meeting agendas, records, and other files of the Local Emergency <br />Planning Committee (LEPC). <br />18. Facilitate, develop, and publish an after-action report. <br />E. Emergency Communications/911 Center <br />1. Serve as the 24-hour contact point for emergency notification. <br />2. Notify county departments/agencies. <br />3. Provide support to the EOC and command post. <br />F. Health Department-County <br />1. Coordinate emergency healthcare. <br />2. Provide public health information and advice. <br />3. Assist in making protective action recommendations. <br />4. Provide medical support to evacuees in shelters. <br />5. Provide inoculation and disease prevention. <br />6. Provide health care for EOC staff. <br />7. Verify minimum sanitation standards. <br />8. Conduct contamination assessment of food and water. <br />9. Coordinate with appropriate agencies on the handling, storage, and disposal of <br />contaminated personal items and waste. <br />10. Maintain public and emergency worker radiation exposure records. <br />11. Assist with medical administration; i.e., quarantine orders, isolation, and disease <br />surveillance. <br />12. Provide epidemiological support. <br />13. Provide laboratory support. <br />14. Coordinate mortuary services. <br />15. Monitor pest and rodent control. <br />G. Department of Public Works <br />L Restore vital facilities and public utilities. <br />2. Assist in rescue. <br />3. Assist in control of vital resources. <br />4. Operate salvage depot. <br />5. Assist in decontamination. <br />6. Assist in route alerting. <br />7. Provide traffic and access control equipment. <br />8. Maintain evacuation routes in passable condition. <br />9.
