Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No. PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS CONSTRUCTION FOR APPLEWOOD POINTE LANGTON LAKE and APPLEWOOD POINTE LANGTON LAKE SECOND ADDITION 15 WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code, certain public improvements were constructed to 16 develop APPLEWOOD POINT OF LANGTON LAKE- Phase 1, an 48 unit senior 17 cooperative building including, the construction of Langton Lake Drive, public pathway, 18 sanitary sewer, watermain, and storm sewer improvements; and; 19 WHEREAS, the Developer, United Properties is requesting the City of Roseville accept 20 ownership and maintenance responsibility of these public improvements; and; 21 WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Developer to construct additional public 22 improvements associated with APPLEWOOD POINTE OF LANGTON LAKE- Phase 2, 23 an 41 unit senior cooperative building including; the construction of storm sewer 24 improvements; and; 25 WHEREAS, the Public Improvement Easement and Maintenance Agreement shall be 26 amended to include the new storm water facilities being constructed as a part of 27 APPLEWOOD POINTE OF LANGTON LAKE- Phase 2; 28 29 30 31 32 33 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, that the work completed as a part of APPLEWOOD POINTE OF LANGTON LAKE- Phase 1 is hereby accepted and approved; the City Engineer is hereby directed to issue a proper order for the final acceptance and accept a two-year warranty for any work covering the replacement or repair of defective items commencing on January 29, 2013, and expiring on January 29, 2014, and; 34 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and 35 directed to enter into a contract with United Properties to construct additional public 36 improvements associated with APPLEWOOD POINTE OF LANGTON LAKE- Phase 2, 37 and;
