contractor will be required to install all preventative measures and maintain them as <br />required by the City, RCWD, MPCA, and other regulatory agencies. <br />B. Utilities <br />The sanitary sewer and watermain extension will be constructed within a public utility <br />easement. The easement will be dedicated prior to the start of construction. All utilities <br />will be constructed according to City of Roseville specifications. <br />A new manhole will be constructed over the existing Metropolitan Council Sewer. The <br />depth of the main in this area is approximately 20 feet deep. As a result, the new <br />manhole will be a 72 inch manhole constructed with an inside drop. This will minimize <br />the depth and also the cost of the proposed public sewer lateral extension. The sanitary <br />sewer lateral depth will be designed to provide gravity services to the home lots. The <br />new public sanitary sewer main will be constructed with 8 inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) <br />pipe. It will be necessary to construct two additional public manholes on the new public <br />main. <br />The new watermain will be connected to the 12 inch cast iron pipe. The new main will <br />be constructed with 6 inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe. A hydrant will be installed at <br />the end of the new pipe for flushing and fire protection. <br />The existing utility services for the property at 3040 Hamline will be disconnected at the <br />public utility mains as required by City Code. The home will be reconnected to the new <br />public sanitary sewer and watermain extension. A private manhole is proposed to be <br />connected to the existing forcemain, with a 6 inch PVC sewer service connected to the <br />new public sewer lateral. The service from the private manhole to the main will be <br />gravity flow. <br />Private utility companies have been notified that this project is being considered for <br />construction in 2013. It is their responsibility to relocate facilities within the right- of- <br />way that interfere with the proposed project. The extension of private utilities will be <br />coordinated as a part of this construction project. <br />C. Driveways <br />It will be necessary to remove a portion of the existing driveway to 3040 Hamline <br />Avenue to construct the improvements. The restoration of this driveway will be <br />coordinated with the petitioner. <br />The new home lots will be connected to Hamline Avenue by a shared private drive. This <br />driveway will be constructed when these lots come in for building permits. A private <br />cross access easement and maintenance agreement will be required to be filed at <br />Ramsey County prior to building permits being issued for these Iots. <br />Project SS-W-13-10 Feasibility Report <br />10 <br />
