It is anticipated that the cost of this new position including benefits will be $93,000 annually in the first <br />33 <br />year. Roseville’s share of the cost will be approximately $15,000 and is incorporated into the 2013 Budget. <br />34 <br />Similar to other employee positions, the person in this position will also be eligible for cost-of-living <br />35 <br />adjustments and performance-based salary step increases as they acquire additional skills, knowledge, etc. <br />36 <br />37 <br />The Council is asked to consider establishing this new position so we can address immediate IT support <br />38 <br />needs in Roseville and the Metro I-Net group. Staff will be available to answer any Council questions or <br />39 <br />concerns. <br />40 <br />PO <br />OLICYBJECTIVE <br />41 <br />Joint cooperative ventures are consistent with past practices as well as the goals and strategies outlined in <br />42 <br />the Imagine Roseville 2025 process. <br />43 <br />FI <br />INANCIALMPACTS <br />44 <br />As noted above, the position is expected projected to carry salary and benefits of approximately $93,000, of <br />45 <br />which $15,000 will be funded by Roseville.
