This position provides technical and functional support for the <br />59 <br />various systems and applications for storing electronic content and data utilizing policies and industry best <br />60 <br />practices. <br />61 <br />62 <br />Scope of Responsibility: <br />63 <br />64 <br />The Records Management Analyst is responsible for developing and recommending records management <br />65 <br />strategies, standards, and procedures consistent with organizational priorities. This position administers <br />66 <br />operating rules and procedures under management guidance, performs advanced troubleshooting or <br />67 <br />analysis, and frequently interacts to provide detailed procedural explanations or technical responses. <br />68 <br />Relationships and successes affecting the overall organization, work environment (culture), and/or the <br />69 <br />overall customer base and general public (reputation), are formed or affected by this position. <br />70 <br />Essential Duties and Responsibilities: <br />71 <br />72 <br />1)Evaluate, implement and manage Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems, equipment, <br />73 <br />related systems and services for headquarters and remote locations. <br />74 <br />2)Perform installation and upgrades of hardware, software and ensuring on time completion of <br />75 <br />projects. Participate in the renewal of maintenance contracts and resolution of disputes of non- <br />76 <br />performance. <br />77 <br />3)Develop and deploy various types of configuration and application components including object <br />78 <br />models, document OCR, security and user management based on business requirements and <br />79 <br />policies. <br />80 <br />4)Manage record retention schedules and deletion schedules. <br />81 <br />5)Adherence to disaster recovery plans to ensure that the organization has the necessary <br />82 <br />information to continue functioning in the event of a major disaster. <br />83 <br />6)Plan and recommend potential acquisition of needed equipment, software and services within <br />84 <br />assigned responsibility. <br />85 <br />7)Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or apparent. <br />86 <br />87 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />
