Sometimes as change occurs a community is stressed and it shows in community dialogues such <br />as the testimony at Human Rights Commission last year regarding the same sex marriage <br />amendment. Some threatening hateful statements but most were positive and supportive of <br />gay people. <br />19. School Community. <br />20. It's about having a community. There is no fear factor for me. <br />21. It's about both. A sense of community and stability creates safety. <br />22. Freely communicating with your neighbors — making friends with them. <br />23. Allow an opportunity for people to get to know each other. <br />24. Views of new arrivals to the community vary greatly by age/generation as well as their own <br />expenences. <br />25. Contact police when there are strange cars — get license — police very responsive. <br />37. Cal — reaches out as much as possible himself but doesn't want city involved. <br />38. Bringing in special needs kids from elsewhere ruined the district "diluted" what Roseville had. <br />39. Areas/opportunities for "sub" groups to connect inside a greater community. <br />40.
