Private work- Sanitary Sewer & Driveways We are no longer accepting requests for private sanitary sewer or driveway work. Private sanitary sewer work confirmations need to be returned by May 3. We have provided the Contractor the list of driveway requests and they will provide you quotes directly. We recommend that you contact other driveway contractors for comparison quotes. Project Description As part of the City of Roseville's ongoing street maintenance program, streets which have curb and gutter but have a poor driving surface are improved using a mill and overlay process. This process usually consists of grinding all or a portion of the existing surface off the roadway and replacing it with a new blacktop driving surface. As part of the process, sunken or badly deteriorated curb and gutter is replaced. The following street segments are included in this year's construction contract: • Commerce St (250 ft east of Snelling Svc Dr E To Albert St) • Cope Ave (Grotto St To Dale St) • Dellwood Street (Co Rd B To Roselawn Ave) • Eldridge Ave (Fry St (East) To Fry St (West)) • Fry St (Co Rd B To Eldridge Ave) • Fry St (Eldridge Ave To Skillman Ave) • Grandview Ave (Saint Albans St To Cul -De -Sac) • Iona Lane (Dale St To Western Ave) • Lovell Ave (Grotto St To Dale St) The cost to perform this pavement maintenance is funded by existing City funds. There will be no assessments for this work. Don't see your street? If your street is not on the list above, you are receiving this newsletter because this project will impact how you access your home. Safety Your assistance in keeping the work zone safe is important. The noise and dust created by construction traffic make it difficult for workers to watch onlookers. Heavy equipment operators must concentrate on the job at hand and may not notice children playing near or behind equipment. Please remind children to stay clear of the construction area and equipment both during working and non - working hours. Mail Delivery, Recycling, & Garbage Pick up The construction work should not impact your mail delivery, recycling or garbage pickup. Schedules and times should remain unchanged. Sanitary Sewer Lining The Sanitary Sewer on many of the street segments is being lined. A separate newsletter has been sent to those properties affected by this additional work. The contractor, SAK Construction, is scheduled to begin lining the week of April 26. This work will be completed ahead of the street work. Affected properties will receive 24 hours advance notice of them performing work on the sewer that you are connected to.
