CITY GOVERNMENT Roseville operates under a Council-Manager Plan B form of government. The five-member City Council (Mayor and four members) is elected at large in even numbered years to four-year terms. In addition to the City Council, there are six City Commissions and Authority. The 2013 budget is $45 million ($13 million General Fund), and Roseville operations are currently supported by 160 fulltime staff, 74 part-time staff and 200 seas In 2006 Roseville completed a visioning process Imagine Roseville 2025 in which new goals were set. The final report is available at www.cityofroseville.com/index.aspx?nid=69. The City recently bonded for $19 million to upgrade the parks and recreation system and to build a new fire station. Reporting to the City Manager are the six Department Heads as well as 5 Administrative Department staff members. SECTION II CITY/CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITY Advertising The City will complete all advertisements including placing posting on City’s website, govjobs.com, LMC, and ICMA webpage. Accepting Applications The City will accept and acknowledge all applications through NeoGov.com. Interview Selection The City will provide all applications to the consultant for review and initial assessment in order to develop a list of 5 to 7 candidates recommended for interview. The consultant will prepare regular communications and/or update process through Human Resources. Finalist Presentation & Incumbent Selection The consultant will present finalists to City Council and facilitate the final selection process to determine the next City Manager for the City of Roseville, MN.
