CITY GOVERNMENT <br />Roseville operates under a Council-Manager Plan B form of government. The five-member City <br />Council (Mayor and four members) is elected at large in even numbered years to four-year terms. In <br />addition to the City Council, there are six City Commissions and <br />Authority. <br />The 2013 budget is $45 million ($13 million General Fund), and Roseville operations are currently <br />supported by 160 fulltime staff, 74 part-time staff and 200 seas <br /> <br />In 2006 Roseville completed a visioning process Imagine Roseville 2025 in which new goals were <br />set. The final report is available at www.cityofroseville.com/index.aspx?nid=69. <br />The City recently bonded for $19 million to upgrade the parks and recreation system and to build a <br />new fire station. <br />The current Mayor and Council Members are: <br /> Expiration of Term <br />Dan Roe Mayor December 31, 2014 <br />Jason Etten Council Member December 31, 2016 <br />Lisa Laliberte Council Member December 31, 2016 <br />Tammy McGehee Council Member December 31, 2014 <br />Bob Willmus Council Member December 31, 2014 <br />The City Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the City. Reporting to the City Manager are <br />the six Department Heads as well as 5 Administrative Department staff members. <br />SECTION II <br />CITY/CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITY <br />Advertising <br />The City will complete all advertisements including placing posting on City’s website, <br />govjobs.com, LMC, and ICMA webpage. <br />Accepting Applications <br />The City will accept and acknowledge all applications through NeoGov.com. <br />Interview Selection <br />The City will provide all applications to the consultant for review and initial assessment in order <br />to develop a list of 5 to 7 candidates recommended for interview. <br />The consultant will prepare regular communications and/or update <br />process through Human Resources. <br />Finalist Presentation & Incumbent Selection <br />The consultant will present finalists to City Council and facilitate the final selection process to <br />determine the next City Manager for the City of Roseville, MN. <br /> <br />
