V. Metropolitan Council <br />A. Phyllis Hanson, Manager, Local Planning Assistance Manager <br />Comment: At the time the City makes application to the MPCA for a permit to <br />construct each segment of the proposed sanitary sewer project, the Council's <br />staff will need to review, comment and recommend issuance of the construction <br />permit(s) before connection can be made to either Arden Hills' or Roseville's <br />wastewater disposal system. � <br />Response: The College will submit information <br />Metropolitan Council as requested. <br />2. The lake has been involved in the Council's <br />Citizenfi ,�Sisted Lake Monitoring Program each of the past six years, beginning <br />in 2001 `�f��� r quality data for the lake is available from the US EPA STORET <br />water quafif�r, ata bank, or can be obtained by contacting the Metropolitan <br />Council �. <br />acknowledged. <br />5. Coi�nment: The MPCA is preparing a state-wide TMDL Implementation Study, <br />which will`include Little Lake Johanna and Lake Johanna. The Council <br />encourages the Cities and Watershed to discuss who will lead the effort of <br />scheduling and preparation of a TMDL Implementation Study for Little Lake <br />Johanna, while state and federal study preparation funding is still available. <br />Response: Comment acknowledged. While the EAW is concerned with the <br />Northwestern College campus, this remark will be forwarded fo the Cities and <br />the Rice Creek Watershed District. <br />6. Comment: The planned use of Low Impact Development and infiltration <br />techniques within the development site will help reduce surface water runoff <br />TKDA Project No. 13529.002 Page 12 Draft Date: July 9, 2007 <br />
