� • <br />6.22 § 1006.OSH (Equipment Restrictions) states: All ground-mounted or roof-mounted <br />equipment, automatic doors, speaker systenzs, gas pumps, car washes, vehicle vacuum <br />cleaners, air hoses, or other noise sources within three hundred feet (300) of a <br />residential area must be conzpletely screened to a point five feet (5) above the first floo�° <br />of adjacerrt residences. Outdoor speaker systenis or other public address systems which <br />can be heard outside are not alloi+�ed to be used between the hours of terr o'clock (10: 00) <br />P.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. within three hundi�ed_feet (300) of a residential <br />district, even if screened. <br />The Planning Division will seek screening of rooftop mechanical equipment from <br />the west, east and south property lines. However, given the elevation change on the <br />north it would be difficult to totally screen the rooftop units from view at the <br />property line. The buffer area adjacent the apartment site will include coniferous <br />trees that will assist in screening these units. <br />6.23 § 1006.OSI (Lighting) states: The height of light poles and fixtures shall comply with <br />subsection 1010.12 of this title, arrd shall not exceed a height of twelve feet (12) if <br />located closer than fifty feet (�0) to a residential property line, nor a height of twenty <br />five feet (25) if located behveen f fty feet (SO ) and one hundred feet (100) of a <br />residential property line. The light shall be no more than 0.5 foot candles at the properry <br />line. (See Chapter 1011 for light requirements.) Light poles or frxtures may be a <br />nlaximum of forty feet (40) tall if located greater than one hundred feet (100) from a <br />residential property line and if completely screened (light source and light source glare) <br />by building, berm, or landscape naaterial with a minimun� opaciry of ninery percent <br />(90%) to eye level view of living spaces in honaes within three hundred feet (300) of light <br />source. All lights not reasonably required for security or business operations must be <br />turned off between the hours of !en o'clock (10: 00) P.M. and sunrise, or operated by <br />nzotion detectors so that they orrly tzn°n on ivhen the�°e is activiry nearby and turn off <br />shortly thereafter. <br />The plans submitted by Roundy's does not include a photometric plan. However, <br />staff will work with the applicant on a site lighting plan that meets this requirement <br />and include it in the final plan. <br />6.24 §1006.OSJ (Other Requirements) states: <br />Certain Businesses In Shopping Center Dist�•icts To Be Enclosed: All business, <br />stoYage, service, repair or processing, recycling, box and crate storage or <br />merchandise display shall be conducted tivholly wrthin an enclosed bz+ilding or <br />hehind a solid fence not less than six feet (6) hrgh except as alloived in subsection <br />1005.
