• � <br />6.20 § 1006.OSF (Off-Street Loading) states: Off-street loadirrg shall be as listed in� subsection <br />1005.01 F of this title and servicing space shall be designated for each szore unit in the <br />shopping district. Such loading space shall be designed so as not to conflict �vith <br />movemerrt of vehicular traffic to and from parking areas. <br />Any commercial loading dock within three hundred feet (300) of a residential <br />district shall be completely screened by a wall, landscaped berm, fence, or <br />combination thereaf from an adjacent residential area, from a point fourteen feet <br />(14) above the ground at the loading area to a point five feet (S) above the,first <br />floor (main level) of adjacent residence.s. <br />2. Any commercial l.oading dock within three hundred feet (300) of a residential <br />district which is to be used for any reason by vehicles or equipnaent between the <br />hours of ten o'clock (1 D: 00) P.M. and seven o'clock (7: 00) A.M. shall be within a <br />com�pletely enclosed and roofed structure. AZl loading, and urrloadrng, operalions <br />shall occur with the exterior doors shut at all tinies. <br />The Planning Division has determined that the only area impacted by the new dock <br />area is the north side, which area includes a steep slope that will be landscaped with <br />coniferous trees. The Planning Division has further determined that need to fully <br />enclose the dock area is unnecessary due to this slope and the minimal impact the <br />dock area will have (given its location and design) on the adjacent north residential <br />property. Roundy's has indicated that they will work with their vendors on the <br />hours deliveries occur and the Planning Division will work to address this item for <br />inclusion in the final plan. <br />6.21 § 1006.OSG (Maintenance Activities) states: Movement of stiveeping vehicles, garbage <br />trucks, maintenance trucks, shopping carts, and other service vehicles and equipment is <br />prohibited within three hundred feet (300) of a residential district betweerr the hours of <br />ten o'clock (10: 00) P.M. and seven o'clock (7: 00) A.M., except for, emergency vehicles <br />and emergency utility or maintenance activities. Except in the case of enaergency, all <br />snow removal operations within three hundred feet (300) of an adjacent residential <br />distr�rct shall be undertaken consistent with a snow manugement plan that must be <br />annually submitted to and approved by the ciry. The plan must include n�zeasures to <br />minimize removal activiry during the hours of ten o'clock (10: 00) P.M. and seven o'clock <br />(7: 00) A.M. consistent with public safety requirements. The plan must also address the <br />location and n�anagenaent of short-term (7 day or less) arrd long-term (more than 7 days) <br />storage of snow on-site and off-site. Long term snow storage shall not occur within 300 <br />feet of a residential zone. Long term snow storage may only occur on sanpla�s parking <br />spaces beyond the required spaces within Section 1018 of this Code. <br />The majority of the activity discussed above will be central to the parcel and of <br />minimal impact to the adjacent residential properties.
