34 It is anticipated that the cost of this new position including benefits will be $ 80,000 annually in the first <br />35 year. Roseville's share of the cost will be approximately $12,000 and is incorporated into the 2014 <br />36 Budget. Similar to other employee positions, the person in this position will also be eligible for cost -of- <br />37 living adjustments and performance -based salary step increases as they acquire additional skills, <br />38 knowledge, etc. <br />39 <br />4o The Council is asked to consider establishing this new position so we can address immediate IT support <br />41 needs in Roseville and the Metro I -Net group. Staff will be available to answer any Council questions <br />42 or concerns. <br />43 POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />44 Joint cooperative ventures are consistent with past practices as well as the goals and strategies outlined <br />45 in the Imagine Roseville 2025 process. <br />P, FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />A7 As noted above, the position is expected projected to carry salary and benefits of approximately <br />46 $80,000, of which $12,000 will be funded by Roseville.
