The modification of the building site pad negatively impacted the number of parking stalls and the
s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota agreed to provide the funds necessary for parking lot, driveway
lo and related improvements should they be necessary. The agreement had an expiration date.
11
12 On November 26, 2007, the Roseville City Council approved an extension of the expiration date of
13 item 3, "Financial Responsibility for Parking Lot and Driveway Improvements" from December 31,
14 2007 to March 31, 2009 (attached) and then again on February 23 of 2009 it was extended to December
15 31, 2013 (attached).
16
17 Since we are approaching the expiration date of December 31, 2013, it is necessary to extend the
18 expiration date again.
19
2U Staff has been in regular communication with the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota and at their
21 request and staff agreement, it is recommended that item 3 of the lease addendum "Financial Responsibility
22 for Parking Lot and Driveway Improvements" set to expire on December 31, 2013 be extended until
23 December 31, 2018.
24
25 Attached is a proposed lease extension agreement between the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota
ro and the City of Roseville that has been reviewed by the City Attorney and is recommended for approval.
'?7 Policy Objective
98 Officially approving a lease extension is consistent with City policy.
