452 5.6.2.2 Informing Members of changes to end user computing devices <br />453 that are driven by the System, i.e., Operating System compatibility <br />454 issues. <br />455 5.6.2.3 First call troubleshooting for System software. <br />456 5.6.3 Member Responsibilities. Each Member is responsible for the following end <br />457 user computing device hardware, software, and services: <br />458 5.6.3.1 Providing and maintaining end user computing devices and <br />459 associated software for use of Member personnel. <br />460 5.6.3.2 Ensuring that end user computing devices and associated <br />461 software that will be used to access the System comply with <br />462 standard specifications established by the CAD System Vendor. <br />463 5.6.3.3 Providing and maintaining all non - System related (third - party) <br />464 software, hardware and peripherals on end user computing <br />465 devices. <br />466 5.6.3.3.1 Should any Member decide to install additional third - <br />467 party software on, or alter the configuration of, its end <br />468 user computing devices, it does so at its own risk. <br />469 Members must provide staff capable of providing <br />470 support for the preparation, installation, maintenance <br />471 and upgrades of such additional software. The County <br />472 will test additional software for compatibility with the <br />473 System at the request of Members. Such testing will be <br />474 charged to the requesting Member. <br />475 5.6.3.4 Keeping operating systems, applications and web browsers on <br />476 Member end user computing devices up to date by applying <br />477 appropriate patches, updates and upgrades in a timely manner, <br />478 and according to standards to be developed per section 10. <br />479 5.7 Fire Department Alerting <br />480 5.7.1 Definitions: <br />481 5.7.1.1 Fire Department Alerting means the process and method used by <br />482 the ECC to notify an agency that a call for service exists. This <br />483 process begins at the dispatch console when a call is received and <br />484 continues through the System until the notification is received by <br />485 any or all of the following means: the Fire Station Controller, a <br />486 two -tone voice paging device, or a messaging device that receives <br />487 email, text, SMS, etc. <br />488 5.7.1.2 Fire Station Alerting means the process and method used by the <br />489 Fire Station Controller to disseminate the alert within the station <br />490 (using peripheral devices such as speakers, lights, menu boards, <br />CAD and Mobile Data Agreement Ramsey County and User Members Page 13 of 48 <br />
