City of Roseville — 2014 Budget Division /Program: Fire Prevention Organizational Responsibility: Fire Chief Division / Program Description The Fire Prevention Division's goal is to decrease the occurrence of fires and promote fire and accident prevention safety throughout the community with education, investigation, inspection, and enforcement. Inspections are in addition to time spent in plan review and related educational programming with schools. The Division's activities are accounted for in the General Fund. 2014 Goals and Objectives • Transition all pre -plans to new RMS system, preparing for the new CAD system. • Work with the chief s staff to continue to move the department forward to achieve department goals and mission. • Become more knowledgeable in the systems within the new station to be able to train others to take over the maintenance systems.
