Questions from Audience:
What types of buildings have been built in the other suburban communities? What is the
time frame? Is it too short? What has been previously done regarding architectural plans?
What streets are involved? Is it possible that homes will be lost? What happened to the
plan voted down in 1989? Why was vacant land developed without a City Center plan?
How many people understand this process? If your home is near the "impact" area, will
the homes be in limbo? How will the study area be defined? Will homes lose value?
Could Rosedale be the City Center?

5. Chair Wietecki noted the Task Force should not be divided by specific interests. The
Task Force should be neutral.

6. The Chair asked new members what their favorite cities are? Pat Johnson stated her
favorite cities are Rosevil1e and Duluth. She is impressed with the long-range planning.

Keith Wietecki asked who had lived outside the city and state. His perspective is the Twin
Cities with friends, family, safety. Rosevitte is home, comfortable, know where we're going, where we've been.

7.
