B-2. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow summarized the site location and proposed project. <br />Shardlow presented a letter from Theisen stating that hours of <br />operation have been reduced to 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday <br />through Thursdays and 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight on Friday and <br />Saturday. <br /> <br />Shardlow summarized a survey conducted by the Police Department <br />which looked at 10 cities that have arcades, five of which were <br />managed by Theisen. Most of the problems cited were increased <br />loiterism and vandalism in the parking lots near the arcades. <br />Shardlow stated that some of these amusement centers also had <br />dance floors and pools halls, items that would not be included in <br />this proposal. <br /> <br />Shardlow stated that the Commission should focus discussion on <br />the public safety issues, that affect property values. <br />
