The Civic Center site has a total of 19.48 acres. <br /> <br />#2 Nature of buildings (existing and proposed). <br /> <br />#2 The existing buildings on the Civic Center site are the following: the City Hall, the <br />Public Works facility, the Fire Station and Vehicle Registration Building and the <br />Ice Arena. The City of Roseville proposes to add to the north end of the existing <br />Public Works facility an addition of 12,000 sq.ft., to provide a structure to cover <br />the salt/sand storage area, and to extend the vehicle marshaling courtyard. <br /> <br />#3 Proposed use of the land and buildings. <br /> <br />#3 The proposed addition will be used to store PubJic Works Department seasonal <br />vehicles and equipment, Engineering Department vehicles, the Fire Marshal's <br />vehicle, Code Enforcement vehicles, line chalk and fertilizer and provide a <br />washbay for the cleaning equipment. <br /> <br />The modifications to the courtyard are fourfold: one, to relocate the fueling area to <br />not interfere with the existing overhead doors; two, to provide a covered salt/sand <br />storage area; three, to extend the courtyard on the northeast comer to provide an <br />enclosed storage area for trailers and equipment and fourth to provide additional <br />security to the courtyard. <br /> <br />#4 Existing and proposed zoning, Why are you requesting this particular zoning change? <br /> <br />#4 The existing site is in an R-l area. The specific land use of the site is not changing. <br /> <br />#5 Description of your business, history of business, operations, number of employees, etc. <br /> <br />#5 The Public Works Department maintains the city vehicles, the streets, the water and <br />sewer systems and the city's parks and recreation facilities. <br /> <br />#6 Number of proposed parking spaces and how parking relates to the proposed ordinance. <br />Are there any unique conditions relating to the parking? <br /> <br />#6 Not Applicable. <br />
