To insure compatible development and proper screening between <br />commercial and residential zoning districts. <br /> <br />staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council approve Ross Company, <br />Inc.'s request for amendment to special use permit for site <br />plan approval and variances to allow the construction of a 14 <br />foot high wood screen wall along the north property line at <br />2480 Fairview Avenue North which begins at a point even with <br />the west edge of the building and which connects to the <br />existing fence on the Welsh Crossroads Shopping Center <br />property. <br /> <br />Council Action Reauested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve Ross Company, Inc.'s request for amendment <br />to special use permit for site plan approval and variances to <br />allow the construction of a 14 high foot wood screen wall <br />along the north property line at 2480 Fairview Avenue North <br />which begins at a point open with the west edge of the <br />building and which connects to the existing fence on the <br />Welsh Crossroads Shopping Center property. <br /> <br />2. Motion authorizing the City Manager to enter into an <br />agreement wi th Tanurb Co. to insure the development of the <br />fence as approved. Further that Tanurb shall pay the first <br />$10,000. of the cost of the fence and the remaining cost <br />shall be paid equally by Tanurb and the city. The City's <br />share shall not exceed $25,000. and shall be funded from the <br />TIF construction account. <br />
