Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday,March 24, 2014 <br /> Page 13 <br /> tial impacts for a multi-family building's mass from other properties, and would <br /> be more appropriate for that type of application rather than for the smaller, less <br /> impact housing units of townhomes, which should be sufficient at 30', and was <br /> consistent with what was currently in place and not much different from single- <br /> family, townhome designs in smaller developments city-wide. <br /> Councilmember Willmus questioned whether that increased footage was support- <br /> ed by the Planning Commission as well, with Mr. Trudgeon referencing the Plan- <br /> ning Commission meeting minutes of March 5, 2013 (Attachment B) and the <br /> friendly amendment to the motion addressing that issue. <br /> At the request of Councilmember McGehee, staff and Mayor Roe clarified that <br /> unless indicated on Table 1004-5 and footnotes, setbacks didn't apply beyond the <br /> courtyard development proposal, and based on any combination or type of hous- <br /> ing unit in each development proposal coming forward. <br /> Etten moved, Wilimus seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. _1464_ (Attach- <br /> ment C) entitled, "An Ordinance Amending Selected Text of Title 10, Zoning Or- <br /> dinance of the Roseville City Code;" as amended to strike the last line of Table <br /> 1004-5 for"Minimum periphery alley setbacks at 10'." <br /> Councilmember Wilimus thanked City Manager Trudgeon and City Planner <br /> Paschke for removing the alley issue at this point for further analysis. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: Wilimus; Etten; McGehee; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> City Attorney Bartholdi reminded Councilmembers that a Super Majority vote <br /> was required to authorize publication of Ordinance Summaries. <br /> Etten moved, Willmus seconded, enactment of Ordinance No. 1464 (Attach- <br /> ment D) entitled, "An Ordinance Summary Amending Table 1004-5 of Title 10, <br /> Zoning Ordinance of the Roseville City Code." <br /> Roll Call (Super Majority) <br /> Ayes: Wilimus; Etten; McGehee; Laliberte; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> b.
